Suggested Packing List/Items

Clothing

The African sun is harsh most of the year. Layering your clothing is most practical for the fluctuating temperatures from day to night of Africa. If you are hunting; dull and or neutral colours are more suitable however camo is a good option. Cotton clothing is recommended for summer. It is best to pack hardy, durable clothing. please note Sun Lotion and a hat is very important.

Travel Insurance

Cabassa Safaris recommends that you protect yourself with travel insurance. Policies must include medical evacuation, lost/stolen baggage, and trip cancellations.

Our team will do their very best to see that you do not have to use it. Travel insurance could mean the difference between life and death. We recommended you use an insurance company that caters for the special needs of hunters. Insuring your firearms and belongings is important when traveling to third world countries.

Personal Medication

If travelers are carrying prescription medicine, they must carry a copy of the prescription with them.

You need to bring all your personal medication with you as this is normally unavailable in the Hunting Country. Please also inform your Hunting representative of any serious medical conditions that you have.
